Blog | Premier League Predictions | Matchday 10
It's another three-day round of fixtures for the Premier League this time out, and so predictions must follow.
Saturday 27th October, 3pm kick-off
Brighton & Hove Albion 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
I don't know if this will actually remain goalless, but I definitely think there's too little to separate these teams right now.
Fulham 2-3 Bournemouth
Fulham have the worst defence in the league, while Bournemouth are enjoying a fantastic start to the season - I expect goals.
Liverpool 2-0 Cardiff City
A regulation win for the home team that is more likely to be bigger than I've predicted rather than smaller.
Southampton 1-1 Newcastle United
A dull, scrappy draw between two dull, scrappy teams.
Watford 1-0 Huddersfield Town
The Hornets are looking a little stronger lately and home advantage should be enough to give them the win.
Saturday 27th October, 5:30pm kick-off
Leicester City 2-1 West Ham United
Again, I think home advantage is key here - if the fixture was reversed, I'd probably go for the Hammers.
Sunday 28th October, 1:30pm kick-off
Burnley 0-2 Chelsea
Much like Liverpool, a comfortable win - although I expect Burnley to at least cause some problems for Chelsea.
Crystal Palace 0-3 Arsenal
Arsenal to make it a dozen straight wins, probably after getting to half-time at 0-0 and doing the regular 'blow teams away in the second half' thing.
Sunday 28th October, 4pm kick-off
Manchester United 2-2 Everton
While Man Utd are struggling, I don't think Everton have quite what it takes to get all three points at Old Trafford.
Monday 29th October, 8pm kick-off
Tottenham Hotspur 2-3 Manchester City
I'd prefer this game to be a draw so both teams dropped points, but Man City are just too good right now.
Here's how my predictions for the season so far - including those above - would leave the table looking after this weekend.
