May Schedule

The Tempest arrives on Elaaden in Mass Effect: Andromeda

This is obviously a bit late for May as we're now just over a third of the way through the month, but will become a regular thing going forward, with the first post of each month detailing what's to come. With no lockdown, things might've been different as friends may have wanted to go and see a different movie, but with no such randomness, it's a little easier to plan ahead.

Thursday 14th May - game review: Cook, Serve, Delicious!

Technically a victim of my newly-implemented Endgame Rule, but as I had played it before, the recent time spent playing it was more of a refresher than my first experience with the game, so was an easy pick for the next game to look at.

Monday 18th May - TV review: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, season 5

Into more familiar territory with the show now as seasons 5-7 are my most-watched sections of the show, mainly because they're so damned good with the Dominion War dominating events.

Thursday 21st May - movie review: The Prestige

Quite possibly my favourite of Christopher Nolan's movies, with terrific performances from Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman as duelling illusionists.

Monday 25th May - movie review: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

A very, very good movie starring Robert Downey Jr, Val Kilmer (on top comedic form) and Michelle Monaghan. Definitely one to watch and wonder about the career RDJ might've had if Iron Man hadn't turned him into a global superstar.

Thursday 28th May - game review: Mass Effect: Andromeda

As the picture might've given away, I'm working my way through the most recent Mass Effect game and enjoying it far more than I did the first time through, despite the occasional glitch. The secret? Knowing what to skip.

The June schedule post has the good fortune to fall on 1st June, so the entire month will be planned out in advance. This month and the next are about getting things sorted out, with the intention of getting the games being played under control so I'm not playing so many at the same time and DS9 finished so I can move on to a more recent show next. Hopefully, there'll be time for some more Dragon Age: Origins too...
