Summertime Madness
Yes, I am referencing a Lana Del Rey song title as a reference to not only the time of year and the fact that I really don't like heat and bright sunshine, but also to a rather nifty, and deeply unsettling, horror movie.
Movies
As the title image gives away - although maybe not because it's not exactly a blockbuster - the next movie to be reviewed will be Midsommar, which I finally got around to seeing with friends last weekend. It's a tricky one to talk about in just a sentence or two, so I won't waste my time trying - all I'll say is that one of my friends needed help walking out afterwards because she felt so ill.
Yeah, it's a good one.
Games
There's no post planned for next Monday thanks to me not having finished any of the multiple games I'm working my way through. My progress so far:
Alpha Protocol - the game I'm most enjoying playing at the moment, but I like to take my time and make sure I'm making the 'right' decisions (for me at least) with this one.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey - still working my through Legacy of the First Blade and about halfway through the second episode, although I don't like where I know the story is heading...
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - still going, but very slowly thanks to neither the story nor the gameplay coming anywhere close to the first game. Still, I'm pretty close to the end, so a review shouldn't be too far away.
Spider-Man - I still haven't touched this thanks to knowing a Mary Jane 'stealth' mission is waiting for me when I go back to it. I'm going to have to force myself past it at some point.
TV
With season three of Orphan Black over and done with, I'll be starting the fourth season soon. As I said in the review of the third season, I'm actually eager to continue with the story, so it might be a shorter wait between reviews compared to last time.
